Coron Tour D : Calauit Safari Tour (By Boat)

** This Tour is only available for groups of 6 people or more **
Calauit Island is an african game preserve and wildlife park which features an array of splendid Giraffes, Zebras, Gazelles, Wild Boars, Eagles, Monkeys, Calamian Mouse Deer, Python and other african wildlife all of which are free to roam the Calauit Wildlife Sanctuary.
After your visit to Calauit you will rejoin your boat and visit the following islands and sites:-
- Black Island
- Sangat Coral Garden
- Lusong Gunboat Wreck (World War II Japanese War Ship)
Black Island is one of the darkest coloured islands in the whole of Coron, and looks not unlike the backdrop for a Pirate movie; really very dramatic. The large, dark limestone rocks have very little vegetation or trees on them and the island is full of secret caves to explore, with delightful rock pools and soft sand.
Sangat Coral Garden is home to an abundance of fish, coral and marine life, all of which can be viewed just whilst snorkeling. Lusong Gunboat is located close to Sangat Coral Garden, and is one of the twelve World War II Japanese Supply Ships that had been anchored in Coron Bay, when US Navy launched a massive airstrike. It can easily be viewed by snorkeling alone and is now home to corals and marine life.
